About Us

Founded in 2013 by Lisa Burkett, Courage Service Dogs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Minnesota residents who have been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a result of trauma experienced in the line of duty.

Mission

Courage Service Dogs is working on some exciting updates for 2018. We promise to update you as soon as plans are confirmed. We are looking forward to helping many people this year and would love for you to follow along or join us.

Our Dogs

Our quality service dogs are raised by loving foster families who assist with their puppy’s obedience and public access training.  Once the puppies have a solid basis in every-day activities, they will begin their task training with our service dog trainer.
